Today I’m going to talk about advertising creativity. We will explore some cases of advertising creativity and tell you a few tools that can be used to create advertising creativity.
If you are doing POD mode, then you can easily create advertising ideas with some tools.
Below I will tell you several forms of advertising display, and you can use these forms.

Of course, you can also use the camera to take real shots of the product and use this video to advertise. Or we can use a video with multiple pictures, which is a bit like a slideshow.

The pictures in the video can be replaced with your own products, and you can also add text.
There are many types of advertisements, and there are many ways to advertise each product in each niche. You can do video ads or single-image ads.
Here is a website called placeit.net , which can generate real product displays.
Like this T-shirt below. It looks like this person was actually filmed in this suit. In fact, he was wearing another piece of clothing, but we can use placeit.net to achieve the effect of this T-shirt model design.

If you place the mouse on the picture, you can automatically display the real-life display pictures of other LOGO and other colors used on the T-shirt:
Choose a style you like, click into it, and then you can upload your own LOGO and change the color of the T-shirt. Click the box under Shirt Color in the upper right corner and select the color you want:
We can use the pictures generated in this way to make FB advertisements. So for POD, it is much easier to use placeit to make product pictures.
Let's demonstrate how we can apply our own LOGO to these T-shirts.
Download your LOGO to the desktop. Then find the style you want to show, such as:
Click to enter the edit page, click Upload Image in the upper left corner to upload your LOGO:
Left-click the LOGO and hold it down to adjust the position of the LOGO displayed on the T-shirt, drag the progress bar below to adjust the size of the LOGO, click Crop:
Then you can see the T-shirt with our own LOGO on this person:
If you feel that the LOGO needs to be re-adjusted in size and position, you can click on the icon in the upper left corner and continue to adjust:
After designing, click download to download the picture without watermark. The purchase of this picture costs 8 US dollars, or you can choose a monthly service of 29 US dollars (unlimited download quantity). The picture will be sent to your mailbox, open the mailbox and click download.
According to the above operation method, you can put the LOGO on different display models to see the final display effect.
A very important function of Placeit is that after we upload the logo, the display models in the Check out your design in these Mockups and See More sections below will automatically load your logo:
After clicking, you can edit the position and size of the logo again without uploading the LOGO:

In the Logos section, LOGO can be designed according to different niches. For example, if your shop is for beauty products, you can click on Beauty Salon to enter and select your favorite template for editing:
In the Videos section, you can make carousel videos, Instagram snapshots, text effects, promotional videos, instructional videos, customer feedback videos on the product, etc.
If you are advertising on Instagram, then you can use Placeit to make videos.
Placeit is very versatile, so it is a website I personally like to use. I won't go into details about placeit here, just introduce its functions to everyone.
Let me demonstrate how to make the pictures we made in placeit into FB carousel ads.
Enter the facebook ad management tool, check the campaign you want to edit or you can create a new campaign, click the edit icon on the right to open the side panel, and click the ad to edit:
In the part of creating ads, select the carousel, which is also the recommended form of advertising by FB:
Remember, the recommended size of the picture is 1080×1080 pixels.
Upload the first picture first, click Select Image to select the picture -> Upload image:
After uploading, you can leave it alone and let FB automatically adjust the size for you. You can also click Crop image to manually crop the image, click one of the four corners and drag to adjust the size:
Then upload the second and third pictures in the same way.
After the pictures are uploaded, we can create different titles and descriptions for each different advertisement, so that we can use different pictures to show different styles (of course not limited to POD products), attract different audiences to achieve more conversions.
On the right, you can preview the styles of ads displayed on different devices and different social platforms:
If your product is purchased from AliExpress, then you can also do this for carousel ads.
Suppose we are selling this flashlight on AliExpress:
After entering the product page, save the available pictures in the product description to the desktop.
Go back to the FB backstage and upload AliExpress products. Click x to delete the previous picture, or click change image to change the picture:
Similarly, click Upload image to upload the image, click Crop image to crop the image, and finally confirm:
If you don’t want to put this picture in the first position, you can directly drag the number 1 to the back and it will become 3. This picture will appear in the third position in the carousel advertisement:
Upload the first and second images in the same way. There is no standard for cropping. You can crop the image as you think it looks comfortable.
After uploading the picture, add a different title and description to each picture, set a call to action, and write the target URL:
The effect of carousel ads is very, very good. If you want to display different products, it is highly recommended to use carousel ads. Each picture shows a different product. Of course, you can also use carousel ads to display the same product, depending on your own needs.
Let me explain how to use Canva to create advertising images.
Suppose we want to use an existing picture to make a FB advertising picture. After logging in, scroll down with the right mouse button to find the advertising section and select Facebook ads:
Click Upload on the left column -> upload picture:
Click on the picture to be edited after uploading. Assuming that we only need the part marked in the red frame of the picture as an advertising picture:
Double-click the picture and drag one of the four corners of the picture to crop the picture:
Then press Enter or click Finish in the upper left corner:
After clicking the picture, click the rotation symbol below to adjust the direction.
We can add background, text and elements to the picture.
For example, we can add different shapes inside the element. For example, put a square frame and write 50% OFF in the upper right corner. The color of the shape can be changed. After clicking the shape, click the color icon in the upper left corner to choose the color you want. Drag 8 points on the shape to change the size of the shape:
If you don’t need an element, after clicking the element, click Delete in the upper right corner:
Finally, we can add some text, adjust the font, size and color of the text, and the final effect is like this:
We can also make the pictures more attractive. I will simply tell you how to use Canva for advertising.
Canva is not the best tool for creating advertising images, but I still use Canva more.
Of course, we can also use Photoshop to make advertising images.
Open photoshop, click the file in the upper left corner -> open the picture you want to edit:
The whole picture only leaves the upper part of what we need:
We can change the background color of the picture, and even add shadows to the objects in the picture. After double-clicking the layer, check Drop Shadow, you can choose transparency, size, etc.:
Here we can add another picture and put the two pictures together to make an advertisement picture:
Add text in the lower left corner to adjust the font size. Remember here: text should not exceed 20%.
Here we can also adjust the direction of the flashlight, click free transform to change the direction of the flashlight, as if the flashlight is illuminating the building, the final effect is this:
Finally, export the picture in PNG format.
If you want to learn PS, you can go to youtube to find instructional videos. The pictures from photoshop are really good, so you don't need to ask professionals to make pictures.
Of course, I am not saying that you must learn photoshop, we can also make very attractive pictures with canva. But photoshop is more difficult to use, so you need to learn to use it skillfully.
But one thing to remember: no matter what tool you use, your advertising ideas must be attractive. So next, I will tell you a few key points to make your ads more conversion.
Let me take you to analyze two different advertising cases.
The views of these two advertisements exceeded one million. If you find that some ads have more than one million views and hundreds or even thousands of interactions, then this ad must be performing well.
Because if this advertisement does not make money, then who would want to let this advertisement run for so long that the number of views exceeded one million? For example, the best advertisement I used to get was about 3.8 million views in 40 days, and my advertising fee spent 111,000 US dollars, and finally attracted about 700,000 audiences to click into my store. We are willing to spend so much money because the conversion rate is good.
Therefore, if we see that other people’s ad views have reached 2.8 million, unless the ad itself has been spread wildly, the advertising fee will cost at least US$40-50,000. As far as I know, they may have spent USD 10,000 to 15,000 to start this popular advertisement.
So, if the advertisement does not see any results, no one will be willing to spend money to advertise.
Let’s take a closer look at what elements this ad contains to make it successful.
First: This is a video advertisement, a video of the actual product in use. The content of this product display video is very simple. It shows how the table automatically rises and falls after someone is operating it. The video lasts about 1 minute and 5 seconds.
Second: The ad copy is very concise, without too much in-depth description. The audience can quickly know what product this is on their timeline: the height of the table can be adjusted with one click.
Whether the copy should be short or more in-depth, we will find another time to talk. But here, we keep the copy short.
Third: The call to action button is Shop Now. This can be set when creating the ad.
Fourth: The title is attractive. The attractive point is here: world's most affordable. Words like this will make the audience feel that other tables are expensive, and the most affordable table is here. So it will attract users, especially those who want to automatically adjust the height of the table.
Fifth: The description below the title. The front part of the description is durable, powerful yet silent, and industrial steel frame describes the characteristics of the table. Free 30-day trial, you can try it for free for 30 days, indicating that they have a refund policy. Up to 5-year warranty, the 5-year warranty will make the audience feel at ease when buying. Putting such content in the description is very useful and can increase sales.
You can also do this by adding the warranty period in the description, such as 14-day warranty, 7-day free trial, 30-day refund, etc.
It's actually very simple, there is nothing complicated.
Let’s take a look at the second ad.
First: There are slides in the video, and there are real people showing up to explain. For us, if we don’t want to be on the mirror, we can make a video and play various pictures during the video.
Second: The ad copy is quite simple. Just three words, wow, simply wow. Of course, the copywriting can be a little better, but sales are mainly determined by advertising creativity. Therefore, our advertising has two focuses: one is the description of the copy; but the creative of the advertisement, here is the video.
In most cases, if it is a video ad, the description of the copy will be relatively simple. If it is an image ad, the copy content will be relatively long. So, if you are doing image advertising, then the copy must be done well. Therefore, the copywriting and description are specific to different advertising ideas, and we can choose one of them.
Third: call to action button. It can be Shop Now or Learn More.
Fourth: The title is attractive. Such a headline will arouse the curiosity of the audience. If the audience sees this ad in the news feed, they will have questions: What does it mean? Will it affect me?
Remember, the title is very important.
Fifth: The description below the title. As a consumer, it is certainly better to be able to buy everything at the cost price, and the click-through rate of such ads will be quite high.
The total number of likes, loves and wows is 316, 80 comments, 147 shares, and 3 million views. Explain that this advertisement is not the only advertisement they do. In other words, their advertisement may be aimed at the Canadian market. Then they used another advertisement for the US market. That advertisement in the US market may have received hundreds of comments and thousands of shares.
The total number of views for advertisements in various markets reached 3 million. So, these 80 comments and 147 shares do not mean that all their social proofs are here. With 3 million views, we can know that they have built multiple ad groups, and one ad is run under each ad group.
After we are familiar with FB ads, we will know that if you have an ad group and an ad, it means that the video belongs to this ad group, but you can still see all the ad views under an ad.
Of course, the more interactions such as likes, comments, and sharing, the better, but just by looking at 3 million views, we can know that this ad is very likely to be profitable.
