The Collections I want to talk about today are product collections. We can use product collections to do many things, and there is a product collection option in Shopify.

The product set is the combination of the products in your store according to certain additions. If you want to do different activities for different categories of products, then you can put these products into different product sets.

For example, if we create a homepage product collection, if I select this product collection in the theme customization settings, the products placed in this product collection will appear on the homepage.

For example, we can create a Winter product collection and put winter clothes, hats, shoes, etc. into this product collection.

Therefore, we can create multiple product sets, and then put the corresponding products into the corresponding product sets. Of course, one product can also be put into multiple product sets. You can make the product set appear on different menu pages, for example, the Christmas product set only appears under the Gifts main menu.

In fact, we have already talked about how to create a product set, and today we will briefly talk about the process.

After logging in to Shopify, click Products–>Collections–>Create collection on the left :

Enter the title of the product collection, such as Chrismtas, you can upload the image of the product collection on the right, select Manual for the Collection type , and click Save:

You can upload the cover of this collection on the right:

After saving, you can directly add products to this product set, click Browse , tick the products you want to add, and click Add .

Or, we can click All products to enter the specific product page, click the blank box of Collections on the right , select Christmas, and finally save it:

If we want to put the Christmas product collection on the homepage of the website, we need to customize the theme.

Click Online Store–>Themes–>Customize:

Click Featured collection-->Change:

Click to check Christmas, then click Select , and finally click Save in the upper right corner

So, the product collection helps you manage various products, and it also helps you to give different degrees of discounts for different products when you do activities. Suppose you want to do activities for winter products and want to put winter products on the homepage, then You can create a new product set, and then select this product set in the theme customization.

The product set creation process is simple, but very important. In this step, the product set must be created.
