Today I’m going to explain how to set a product title, how to write a description, and how to set up reviews to increase conversions.

Product title
The product title should be simple and clear, so that customers know what it is at a glance, nothing more, no need to go into details.
Log in to Shopify, click All products, click to enter a product editing page:
This is a bottle opener for Card A. So our title is very simple: Ace Bottle Opener. There is no need to add some superfluous words at the end, such as Ace Bottle Opener-Amazing Bottle Opener / Cards, which is not good for SEO. All we have to do is simply explain what the product is.
If you want to add the brand name in the title, for example, your brand is Joyful, then the title can be like this: Joyful™ Ace Bottle Opener, which may look more professional. (The TM logo in the upper right corner of Joyful is typed in this way. You can select by typing two letters directly in the state of Chinese input method)
If you want to make a promotion, you can also add the content after the title, such as Ace Bottle Opener – (50% OFF)

Regarding the description, I suggest you refer to the competitor’s writing.
For example, the bottle opener is a gadget, we search for buy gadgets on Google, click to enter the awesome stuff to buy, and see how the product in it is described:
For example, when we open this product, it is a crowdfunding project. Its description provides a lot of pictures, animations and text content, which is very in-depth:

In general, the following principles should be observed when writing descriptions:
First: be concise, go straight to the topic , and state clearly what product it is and what the product does, that is, what goals can be achieved for customers.
For example, customers buy my teeth whitening kit because they want their teeth to be white and beautiful. Why do customers want to whiten their teeth? We can write these contents in the product features and product advantages.
Second: The content clarifies the product features and the benefits that the product can bring. Take this tooth whitening product as an example. The product's characteristic is that it can achieve the teeth whitening effect within 10 minutes. The benefit that can be brought to customers is to make your appearance look great.
Third: You can add some animations to display the product. The more information you provide to potential customers, the better. Under normal circumstances, customers need to contact your brand several times before they can trust and buy your products.
But if you give as much information as possible, it will be easier for potential customers to make a purchase decision and your products will sell faster.
You can think about it in another way. If you are a consumer and you want to buy a product, the more information you have about the product, the faster you can decide whether to buy it.
In the description, you can use pictures of some customers using the product, and try not to use large paragraphs of text in piles.
Of course, what I said above depends on the specific product, but when we write the description, we can try to do the above.
So remember: the description should be concise and clarify the product features and benefits. If possible, add animations or pictures of users using the product.

Product reviews
For a shop, one of the parts is particularly important, that is, comments and social proof.
Comments and social proofs have a great impact on the conversion rate, because other potential customers want to know if others have actually purchased, and at the same time they can increase their trust in the product. Therefore, we must make good use of comments and social proof.
1. Social proof

Its socail proof is displayed in the lower left corner of the page in a pop-up form, such as how many people are browsing this page, who just bought what product and so on.
But personally think its price is a bit expensive. It is charged according to the number of visitors to your website each month. For example, if the monthly visitors are below 1,000, the monthly fee is 29 US dollars. Monthly visitors are between 1000-10000, and the monthly fee is $79:
If you are just starting a shop, I suggest that this plugin is not a must-have option for you. What we must have is the comment plugin, which allows customers to add product reviews.
2. Comments
Product reviews are very helpful to increase sales. When users enter your product page, they want to see what other buyers are saying about your product.
There are many comment plug-ins, and I personally like to use Yopto. Yopto not only allows customers to comment, but more importantly, this plug-in will track those customers who have not commented.
In other words, if a customer purchases your product, but does not leave a comment, Yotpo will send a message to the customer for him to come to your store to leave a comment.
In the Yopto backend, you can enable automatic comment request emails, which is very useful.
There is a free version and a premium version. The price of the premium version should not be cheap. You need to contact their customer service to find out.
If you don't want to use Yopto, you can also use other plugins.
Enter the Shopify plug-in market, search for reviews, you can see many comment plug-ins:
