The content will not be too much, I will tell you my research method, and then you use this method to research the product.

Open the AliExpress official website, enter keywords, such as baby girl clothes, in the upper right corner you can choose to display the results in a list or in a grid:

Then, I will choose to sort the results by order quantity:

In this way, the product with the most orders will be ranked first. Many orders for a product indicate that the market needs such a product, and consumers are willing to buy it. Sellers like us who do drop shipping will want to sell this product.

We can see the order quantity under the product. If the quantity is large, then this product is very popular in this market.

Next, we want to look at the number of product reviews. Through the number of comments, we can know whether this product is truly well-deserved. The more comments, the more ordinary consumers. However, if there are a lot of orders but very few reviews, be more vigilant, because it is possible that the merchant may increase the sales of the product by brushing the order.

Let’s take a look at this one-piece and click on the rating above the price to see all feedback:

1 point is shown as 0% here, indicating that the quality of the product may be really good, and it may be really trustworthy.

Next, we focus on the buyer’s evaluation with pictures. Many buyers say that the logistics is relatively fast, the clothes are beautiful, the quality is good, and they are recommended.

For our shopify merchants, it is necessary to understand this information. If you think about it, if your customers receive junk goods, it will be a big blow to your brand.

After finding such a potential product, you can enter the store and click on Top Selling to see what other hot-selling products in this store are.

For example, the above shop, you can see the sales of other products are also good, for us to evaluate the quality of this shop is still good.

Below I will expand the scope of the search a little bit, search baby directly, and see what the results are. Also sort the results by order volume to see if there are any interesting products:

Take a look at the product above: baby handprints and footprints. A product like this is very meaningful for several years. Let’s see how the product’s feedback is:

There are 4% of 1 star rating. In this case, we must be vigilant. Click 4% to see what these buyers who gave a 1-star rating say. Most buyers say that this product is not ink pad, but foam, which is a bit of a bad product.

Then let's search for other suppliers on AliExpress, search for clay handprint, and then sort by order volume:

Click to enter the one marked in the red box and see how the feedback is. 1 star rating has 2%.

Click 2% to see what the buyer is saying. Some said the goods were not received, and some said the goods were broken.

Below we click on 85% of the 5-star rating, focusing on the good reviews of buyers.

At the bottom of the page, you can also see other products that this seller is selling or products provided by other sellers:

The above is the basic process of my product research, very simple. Be sure to sort the search results by order volume.

In addition to AliExpress, we can also look at the data on eBay.

Enter ebay official website, enter search keywords, such as clay handprint.

Click on a specific product to go in to see how buyers rate and evaluate the store. Click the number of ratings to enter,

For example, by clicking on the number of negative reviews in the past month, you can see why buyers are dissatisfied. Generally speaking, whether it’s AliExpress or eBay, buyers often give negative reviews because they have not received the goods. We can search for receive with Ctrl+F, and we can see which buyers have given them because they have not received the goods. Business trip evaluation:

But let's not be scared by these bad reviews. Our focus is to use AliExpress and eBay to conduct product research and cross-comparison.

Thieve is a product planning website under AliExpress. The products on display are manually selected to avoid waste of time when merchants choose products.

For example, let’s look at this pair of socks.

Click on the picture of socks and click on BUY ON ALIEXPRESS to jump to the AliExpress product details page. After installing the thieve extension, you will see a black diamond logo with a yellow background in the lower right corner. The top left corner of the icon shows the product rating.

Similarly, after we enter the AliExpress product details page, we still need to look at the buyer’s evaluation with pictures and see the real product pictures taken by the buyer.
