You can go to fiverr, 99design, upwork and other websites to find a good logo. If you want to make your own logo, you can use canva .

First look at how to find the most suitable LOGO size (because each place has different requirements for LOGO size, such as FB, store header, etc.).

What I want to tell you is: refer to the good LOGO of the competitor.

Suppose my competitors are Kylie Costmetics and Fashionnova.

Go to kyliecosmetics.com and fashionnova.com to see what their logo size is:

According to my research, a simple text-type LOGO is enough for a fashion beauty shop like this.

Right-click the LOGO, and save the picture on the desktop.

Fashionnova is in svg format, and Kyliecostmetics is in png format.

Generally speaking, like a picture in jpg/png format, the pixel size can be displayed when the mouse is placed on the picture:

But the svg format will not automatically display the pixel size:

We can Google search what size is my image to see if there is any tool to check the pixel size of the image, such as picresize.com:

Click browse to upload the picture, and then click continue to get the result, the pixel is: 2000×232.

Look at the pixel size of Fashionnova in the same way. Unable to view, because svg format is not supported.

Or we can use photoshop to see the pixel size.

Click File -> Open Picture, select the pixel and you can see the size of Fashionova's LOGO:

Then you can click File -> Export to PNG format, so that the pixel size of the exported LOGO is the same as the svg file.

After understanding the LOGO size, we can tell the designer how big the LOGO should be. Of course, different store themes have different requirements for the LOGO size. What you have to do is to design the most suitable LOGO according to the requirements of your store theme.

The LOGO style we want to do is mainly determined by the niche. Of course, we also need to see what the LOGO of your competitors and other websites looks like.

If your competitor’s LOGO has a small icon, then your LOGO must do the same; if your competitor’s LOGO is pure text, such as Kylie Costmetics, then your LOGO can also be made simpler. Add additional icons. Of course, in the end everything is up to you.

Find a designer to design a LOGO

After studying the LOGO of other websites, we can start to make the LOGO by ourselves or go to platforms such as fiverr to find a designer.

For this example, it is best to choose the standard service, because the basic service does not provide vector files. Although it will be a bit more expensive, vector files must be obtained.

Because the vector diagram can be zoomed infinitely without changing the color and blurring, the LOGO can be placed anywhere without affecting the image quality.

In addition to fiverr, you can also use 99design to design LOGO. But the price on 99deisng is much more expensive, it may cost thousands of dollars in LOGO design, but you can cooperate with many designers, a bit like domestic freelance websites.

You can describe in detail what you want to design, and then you may receive dozens or even hundreds of designers based on your description to design works, and finally you can choose the most suitable design from them.

Make your own LOGO

If you want to make your own LOGO, you can use Canva.com. Some small icons on it require a fee, usually one or two dollars. After paying, you can use these small icons in your LOGO design.

Suppose we want to make a LOGO similar to fashionnova, fashion is not bold, nova is bold.

Log in to canva, click on the custom size in the upper right corner, and enter the pixel data. For example, the pixel size of the Fashionnova we analyzed earlier is 508×81, click to create a new design:

Click the text on the left -> Add text box, and enter your LOGO name in the text box, such as Fashion Media:

We can also use photoshop to make LOGO.

Open photoshop, click on the layer on the right to create a new layer 1:
