Qilin Gorge, Tibet's lowest-key Grand Canyon! Comparable to Anjihai, Xinjiang

The most surprising encounter during this trip to Tibet was the Qilin Gorge in Shigatse, Tibet. Close my eyes at the moment, and I can still feel the shock it brings to my heart.

This shocking ground under the Himalayas is hidden in deep boudoir and no one knows it. Even the old Tibet, even the locals living in the Shigatse area, may not have heard of it.

The supernatural workmanship of nature, the enlarged version of the "terracotta warriors and horses" is rare in the world and shocking...No amount of adjectives can stand there in person, breathing thin oxygen, and letting the breeze of the canyon blow over your face. Moment.

Looking at this peculiar karst landform that has been washed and cut by glaciers and snow water for tens of millions of years, you will be like me, thinking about the meaning of life.

Such a spectacular scene reminds me of the Anjihai Grand Canyon in Xinjiang I have been to. This Tibet Qilin Gorge is more niche, primitive and pure.

Driving from Xigaze to Qilin Gorge, sparsely populated, flocks of cattle and sheep, beautiful scenery along the way.

Qilinxia Scenic Area belongs to the Mount Everest Reserve, 200 kilometers away from Shigatse, 3.5 hours by car. It is only 260 kilometers away from Mount Everest Base Camp.

Many friends have gone to Everest Base Camp to check in, but few people know about it. I have been to Everest Base Camp twice, but this is the first time I have heard of Qi Lin Xia. The niche scenery is even more delightful.

To go to Qilinxia Gorge, you must pass through Mu Village, Qiongzi Township, Dingjie County, Xigaze Prefecture, Tibet. This is a beautiful Tibetan village with a paradise-like quiet, as if isolated from the world.

This place has not been developed commercially. The Tibetan compatriots in the village are very simple and will scramble to get in front of your camera.

It is on the border between Nepal and India, and it is not far from the border.

Standing on the viewing platform of the scenic spot, if the weather is fine, you can get a close view of the third highest peak in the world: Kanchenjunga. It was a pity that it was cloudy and I could not see it with my own eyes. Leave some regrets and look forward to next time.

Located at the foot of Mount Everest in the Himalayas, Qilin Gorge is about 15 kilometers long, 500 meters wide, and 200 meters deep. It has a typical canyon stone forest landform.

The whole Qilin is a huge art treasure house, let your imagination be free. The key is that there are almost no tourists, and there is a sense of luxury to book a place.

Deep, strange, suspended, secluded, dangerous... Qilinxia embodies the greatest surprise that nature has given to mankind. If you have a drone, you can take an aerial photo here. To create a spectacle this day, you must feel that the battery is not enough.

Qilin, with its peculiar form and various poses, will sigh the magical power of nature no matter who comes here.

The Qilin Gorge in Xigaze, Tibet, is vaster, more magnificent, and more surprising than Anjihai, Xinjiang. Because of the high altitude, fewer people know this place, which can be called the lowest-key Grand Canyon in Tibet.
